Lambda Chi Alpha offers the premiere collegiate leadership experience for men attending the University of Delaware. While remaining one of the only officially recognized lettered chapter houses at the University and having the longest continual chapter presence of any fraternity on campus, Lambda Chi routinely ranks among the top fraternities in areas of scholarship, philanthropy, and chapter involvement.

Lambda Chi Alpha became the first general men's fraternity to ban hazing when pledging was eliminated from our fraternity's heritage in the 1970s. Lambda Chi's open motto--Vir Quisque Vir, meaning "Every man a man"--is the cornerstone of our new member education process. Associate members of Lambda Chi enjoy the same rights and privileges brothers do as they complete their journey to fully join our brotherhood. Our chapter's lasting legacy and tradition of excellence in character are central to our new member process, and the degrees of dignity, the measures of support, and the investment made in each new member is unparalleled.

With over one thousand brothers initiated and a fifty-year legacy, Lambda Chi also boasts the largest and most engaged fraternity alumni network on campus. Through our chapter's housing corporation and alumni association, alumni from all walks of life and professions play an active role in the continued success of our chapter and our individual brothers, before and after graduation. This tangible testament to the closeness of our brotherhood is on full display at chapter meetings and rush Heritage Night, and is defined by decade-spanning mentorships and friendships fostered between our brothers.

In the past year alone, Lambda Chi has placed second in Greek Week, second in Airband, third in chapter assessment (CAP) among general social fraternities, and third in average GPA among general social fraternities. During the 2013-2014 scholastic year, Lambda Chi raised over 10,000 lbs of food for Feeding America, our fraternity's philanthropic partner. These continued successes are due in no small part to the determination and conscious efforts made by our active brothers. We invite you to see if the Lambda Chi experience is for you.
